ARTWORK SET UP

IMPORTANT NOTE> The works printed with risogpraph or digital duplicator will look different from what you see on your computer screen. Prepare for that.

REGISTRATION> Duplicator printers were not originally designed to do multi-color printing,  so there will always be a degree of mis-registration when printing several colors/ layers. Of course, we try our best to make prints with the minimal or zero misregistration but it’s not always  possible. Misregistration is part of the process and that is actually very nice.

DPI AND LAYERS> Work should be saved at least 300 dpi. We prefer PDF,  but SVG, JPG and PNG’s also work.  File you send should be in gray-scale.  If  your artwork have more than one color, you should save your graphic in different color layers. Keep each color in individual layer and give the layer name of color that you want to use.

MARKS> Small print marks are inevitable.

COLORS> Risograph doesn’t have Pantone/CMYK/RGB colors, but is able to produce any value of that color, as well as overlap, creating new colors. Colors we stock: Black, Blue, Purple, Red, Green and Yellow.

Be aware that these colors will vary depending on the paper stock.
